Louis Bromfield's Malabar Farm is a living memorial to a man whose vision made him an early supporter of sustainable agricultural practices in the United States. He used his literary fame to rebuild several farms in Ohio, one of which was a favorite stop for some of Hollywood's best-known actors. In fact, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married there.
