How It's Made: Lynx crosscut saws - Video

Uploaded by scalabration on Jan 21, 2012

This type of crosscut saw is intended for logging work, not for the woodworking shop or garage. Both one-person and two-person saws are shown being manufactured, mostly by hand. Not much automation here. Lynx brand saws are manufactured in Sheffield, England by E. Garlick & Son, which is now owned by Thomas Flinn & Co. http://www.flinn-garlick-saws.co.uk/acatalog/The_Lynx_Range.html
